Please remember to COMPLETE YOUR REFLECTION which shall be based upon your 1st reflection. This reflection shall be a reflection on your reflection and it is due on Wednesday. This is a 2nd chance.


Long Term Homework:

Term 2 Essay:

To be handed in by the 1st week when school reopens from the March Holidays. You may wish to submit a "draft" of your Assignment latest the 1st day of Term 2 for comments.

FINAL Dateline: 19th March 2008.

Participation in Class:

This term's participation in Class shall be graded solely upon the participation on the threads in these wiki pertaining to POD. Please contribute wisely.

The threads which you may attempt to comment or discuss upon can be found below. At the end of a period of time, Ms Phuan shall thus check them and grade each student accordingly to the Quality, not Quantity of comments and answers they have given below.

If you are interested in learning more upon POD, you may wish to check up more on thinking related topics. (Check Wikipedia: It's a good source :P)

Grading System:


If any of you guys were wondering how your term 1 marks are going to be evaluated, this is the marking scheme.

Term 1 Grading System:

10% = A 2nd reflection based on the 1st Reflection.
5% = Classroom Participation (based on 2nd discussion thread - pls delete extra posts which you do not intend to be counted in your quota of 4)



Term 2 Grading System:


20% = Written critique (For details, please refer above.), which is to be submitted on the 1st day of school in Term 2, 19th March 2008. You may submit your essay earlier if you wish to obtain comments upon it such that you have time to re-do and perfect your essay.

Year's Grading System:

Term 1 = 15%
(Reflection based, with addition from probably file checking and Classroom participation)

Term 2 = 20% (Essay Based, details are already stated above)

Term 3 = 15% (Reflection based, with addition from probably file checking and Classroom participation)

Term 4 = 50% (Essay Based)

Have a GREAT time doing POD and hope you guys shall be able to think well eventually by the end-of-the year. It's not about the marks: It's about the process and development of YOUR BRAIN. And maybe you'll get an iPOD once you make everything you've learnt in POD yours. Only then can you say, "I POD!". But either way, you'll can get a doPOD no less.
