1(c) e^m = 3
1(f) k = 3^(x-3)
2(c) lg (5) = n + 1
2(f) ln (x - 2) = m + 5
3(b) y = 1 - ln (3x)
3(f) y = e^(4x) - x
4(b) x = 5.652 or x = 0.177
4(e) x = 18.95
4(h) x = 72.5
